# Archive an Item

## Archive an Item

1. To archive an item, it must be visible in the central list. If it is not present in recent items, you can perform a global search in the Workspace to load it.
2. In the top right part of the central column, click the **Manage items** gear icon button. This operation enables multiple selection of items from the central list.
3. Once selected, click the **Archive** button on the right side of the screen.
4. Confirm that you want to archive the selected item or items by checking the checkbox.

{% hint style="info" %}
**This operation is reversible. It will be possible to recover an archived item by loading the list of Archived Items, from which recovery can be performed.**
{% endhint %}

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://help.fashionupdater.app/en/workspace-management/model-operations/archive-item.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
