# Delete an archived item

Permanent deletion is available only from the relevant archived list and only to authorized roles.

## Permanently delete an archived item

1. Open **Archived Models** or **Archived Conversations**.
2. Enter management mode.
3. Select one or more items.
4. Choose **Delete**.
5. Review the warning, select the required confirmation, and proceed.

Permanent deletion cannot be undone and removes the selected item and its contained content according to the application's deletion rules. Use **Restore** instead if the item may be needed again.

An active or aborted Model must first be archived before it can be permanently deleted.
