# Search, filters, and bulk actions

Find content and update multiple items in the desktop app

The desktop app provides contextual filters, quick search, and **Global Search**. Available actions depend on your role, the result type, and the features enabled for the Workspace.

## Filter lists

In the sidebar you can filter Models by:

* Tags;
* User Groups;
* progress statuses;
* followed Models only.

Separate lists are available for archived Models, aborted Models, archived Conversations, and archived Chats. Active filters are shown in the list and can be cleared individually or all at once.

## Use Global Search

Open **Global Search** from the top bar or with the shortcut displayed in the interface. Search can return Models, Conversations, users, messages, notes, and files.

Open a result to go to its original context. For supported files, you can also open a preview before navigating to the Model or Conversation.

## Update multiple Models

Enter selection mode in the Models list, select the items, and use the available action to:

* assign or remove shared Tags and User Groups;
* change progress status;
* archive;
* abort or reactivate;
* restore or permanently delete archived items.

Always review the summary before confirming a destructive action.

## Bulk actions from search

From the appropriate **Global Search** results you can:

* send a broadcast message to multiple Models or Conversations;
* rename multiple items with the available options;
* export results to CSV;
* replace or delete multiple occurrences of the same file.
